Dual Mode Teaching @ HKU is a resource website provided by CETL @ HKU. “Dual Mode” means “Online + F2F”, so I use 2 colours – red and green as the base colours of the logo, where the “purple” is actually a mixed colour came from that red and green. This symbolised the “mixed” concept of Dual Mode. Although using blue and red will be a better choice as it also means 3D, there’s already a logo from CETL used blue and red (TeL@HKU) already. To avoid mixing up these 2 projects, red and green is used instead.
The theme colour of the project is continuously used in different elements in the website to bring out the brand of this website.
